For Your Information

Read all of this, you are responsible for this information.

1. Is it important to note that coaching services are not typically a "one and done" experience. Career development and choices take time, it is a journey. I am here for you on this journey for as long or as little as you choose me to be. 

2. I own and operate this business while having a full time job in higher education.  My services are not available for those enrolled, or seeking enrollment, at Syracuse University.

3. Individual services are offered virtually, asynchronously or via video meetings, and are available to anyone in the United States. Group Sessions, Presentations, and Workshops can be in-person or virtual - please reach out to discuss your options. Oswego and Onondaga county in New York are considered local travel.

4. Respecting the privacy of clients, current and former, is a basic value of Suits You Coaching. Client information and coaching sessions are considered confidential and will not be disclosed or discussed with anyone without permission or authorization from the client.

5. I reserve the right to decline any requested job. My goal is to accept all jobs (except those connected to the defense field as outlined above) that I can but I want you to be aware in case that is not possible. 

6. Timelines 

   1. Appointments can be scheduled for the immediate future or a few months in the future - whatever is best for you. 

   2. When providing availability please provide range availability (ex Mondays 5pm-8pm, Wednesdays 7pm-8pm). I utilize this information when securing an appointment date & time. 

   3. I determine the turnaround/timeframe(s) of services for document & LinkedIn creations, edits, and revisions. I aim to provide a quick turnaround (less than 1 week) but there may be circumstances when this is not possible. I will actively communicate the timeline with you in our initial agreement and request adjustments as needed. 

7. Regarding Payments 

   1. Preferred payment method is Venmo, happy to work out another method if needed. I share my username upon booking confirmation. 

   2. Full payment must be received 72 hours prior to the appointment or it will be canceled. For appointments scheduled within 72 hours, payment must be received with booking. 

      1. Exception of custom priced items which must have 50% paid within 72 hours of agreement and remainder at project completion. If document creation you must be paid in full to get the document. 

   3. Refunds are not available for partial payments, client decided termination/cancelation of services, or client not utilizing full allotted time of appointment/bundle. If you want to reschedule an appointment before its start time, at least 4 hour notice is required or there will be a $5 reschedule charge. 

8. Discounts & Gift Certificates 

   1. Any discount or gift certificate expires 6 months from the issued date. 

   2. Only 1 discount can be used per appointment type.

10 Minute Coaching Consultation ($0 - FREE)

• Unsure if you'd benefit from customized coaching? l get that, it's an investment. Career stuff can be intimidating and difficult to dedicate time to. This appointment is great for us to talk about your needs, options, and what is best for you. It is alright if what's best for you at that time isn't coaching, I will be open to meeting in the future if you choose not to use my services after this consultation. This appointment type is limited to one use per individual. 

30 Minute Venting Appointment ($20)

• This appointment is more about being heard than being coached, although it does have a coaching component. Clients will have 25 minutes to talk/vent and have their current career or college frustrations and/or struggles. They get to be heard as they want to share it. In the last 5 minutes clients will be given 2 coaching thoughts; a tip and a suggestion based on what they shared. Some potential topics include: burnout, stress, feeling lost or dissatisfied, poor management/leadership, power dynamic struggles, events like performance review or grades, etc. Topic does not need to be disclosed pre-appointment. 

• This is a great gift! This is a new way to support someone venting to you. Give them a new set of ears to hear them out! Remind them, all that is shared is confidential. 

30 Minute Career Coaching ($30)

• Want to talk about your current career path? Want to strategize ways to find more enjoyment in your current work? Want to create a plan for your career moving forward? Realistically, if you want to chat anything regarding your career this is a great appointment for you! 

30 Minute Career Exploration Coaching ($30)

• Want to focus on exploring job and career options?  Want to explore what your interests are and how they relate to careers? This is the appointment type for you! 

30 Minute College and/or College Major Exploration Coaching ($30)

• Thinking about going to college but feel unsure about the decision? Enrolled in a college but unsure if it, or your major, or if your institution is the right fit? Let's chat about it! 

30 Minute Networking Coaching ($30)

• Want to build a stronger professional network?  I am here to help. Having a network in your field, and other fields of interest, can give you a major leg up when searching for opportunities. Let's talk about ways to build an authentic network. Together we can discuss the best options for you and develop a plan or strategy.

30 Minute Interview Preparation ($30)

• Want to work on your interview skills?  Feeling confident and being "good" at interviews is a learned skill. Anyone can become great with practice and prep. We can prepare for a specific application, occupation, field, or even generally.

30 Minute Application Doc Informational Connect ($20)

• Educational session discussing one or two of the following application documents: resumes, cover letter,  personal statement, diversity statement, graduate school essay, performance review, & applications prompts OR LinkedIn. This does not include a review of personal materials.  

30 Minute LinkedIn Informational Connect ($20)

• Educational session discussing  the power and purpose of LinkedIn. This does not include a review of personal accounts. 

30 Minute Resume and/or Cover Letter Review* ($30)

• Review of a pre-existing resume or cover letter (any source) for real time feedback. 

  • If you decide after this meeting you would like me to do the revisions for you, I waive the Resume Creation/ Revision Consultation appointment. After this meeting I reserve the right to accept or decline the job - I will let you know within 48 hours. If accepted I'll give you a quote on the job and timeline for completion. You are able to decline this quote, but the resume review will not be refunded. 

30 Minute LinkedIn Review* ($30)

• Educational session on LinkedIn OR review of a pre-existing LinkedIn profile for real time feedback 

  • If you decide after this meeting you would like me to do the revisions for you I waive the Creation Consultation appointment. I will decide if I will accept or decline the job. If accepted within 48 hours of our meeting I'll give you a quote on the job and timeline for completion. You are able to decline this quote, but the resume review will not be refunded.

30 Minute Other Professional Document or Application Review* ($30)

• Review of pre-existing application information (Ex. graduate school essay, performance review, prompts on application, application before submission) for real time feedback.  

Asynchronous Document or LinkedIn Profile Edits/Revisions (Custom Pricing)

Have an existing document (resume, cover letter, etc.) that you want revised or edited? I can do that for you! The cost for this is custom per job, it is something we will discuss together along with the timeline; typical turnaround time is between 48 hours - 1 week based on workload and customer need. 

• If you have your resume revised or created by me then want me to tailor it for a specific application I am happy to do that for you. You are required to send me the job description of the role you want it tailored to. (This price will be "discounted")

Document or LinkedIn Profile Creation ($20 for 30 Minute Consultation, Custom Pricing on Product)

I can create original documents; the most common request is a resume or job search assistance documents. To start this process, we have a 30 min creation consultation appointment so we can discuss your needs, timeline (72 hours - 1 week usual turnaround), and develop an appropriate cost. I will let you know at ~10 min mark if I'm going to take the job or not - if I say no I will refund 50% of the appointment cost.

I can create:

•  a general resume for the field you are interested in 

• a resume customized to a specific position (aim is 1 week turnaround, must share job description - can be done after a general or master resume has been created for a "discounted" price) 

• a cover letter customized to a specific position (aim is 1 week turnaround, must share job description) 

• a custom URL LinkedIn account from scratch connected to your contact information

• a master resume that includes all experiences (should be cut down to 1 (sometimes 2 full pages) before submitting with application

Coaching Bundles

These bundles help encourage regular meetings at a discounted rate. These are especially beneficial to individuals that are actively job searching or seeking to explore their career options. Bundles must be purchased prior to the appointment occurring and can only be utilized by one individual. Purchased hours expire at the client's decided deadline.

 Discounts do not apply to this section as savings are already applied.

6 Hour Bundle ($300, Value $360)

• 6 hours of coaching to be utilized within a designated timeline ending between 2 - 6 months, you decide when booking the bundle.

4 Hour Bundle ($200, Value $240)

• 4 hours of coaching to be utilized within a designated timeline ending between 1 - 6 months, you decide when booking the bundle.

2 Hour Bundle ($100, Value $120)

• 2 hours of coaching to be utilized within a designated timeline ending between 2 weeks - 2 months, you decide when booking the bundle.
